My interest in photography started at an early age and has since evolved.
When beginning to take my photography to a professional level, I market researched the many talented photographers in the area, a lot to which I asked, "How do you become a Certified Photographer?".
Did they need some sort of qualification?
I found most were all self taught and you just had to have a "Nice'' camera, and sell your images to be able to label yourself as a professional (Which is totally ok).
However I wanted to become set apart from this, I needed a point of difference.
I wanted to learn and educate myself with the in's and out's of all aspects of Photography.
I didn't want to be known as that photographer who just had the nice camera. After - it's the creativity and the behind the scenes is what makes an image.
I then dove in deep to courses and landed on study A Diploma of Photography and Photo Image - RTO Code 45423. At the time of writing this I am 1 modules off completing my Diploma.
Certificate of Perfect Portraiture - Certified by the Photographer Institute of Australia.
I have a current Queensland Working with children permit.
I am an Accredited Equestrian Queensland Photographer (Current 2025).
Current Public Liability Insurance.
